THE LOBBY

The Standard’s breathtaking lobby is the perfect first impression piece for all of your wedding guests. With high ceilings, beautiful statement artwork and furniture (including a refurbished antique grand piano) and the perfect amount of finishing touches our lobby leave a lasting impression of sophistication and class. This space is the first level of our three-story wedding and event venue and includes a coat check area, restrooms, our Event Coordinator’s office as well as our incredibly beautiful bridal suite.

SECOND FLOOR DINING HALL

The Standard’s dining hall is the second level of our three-story wedding and event venue. Our clients’ have the freedom to help our staff envision and create a one of a kind floor plan with a mixture of table options. This creates a unique and customizable look for this entire space. With brick exposed walls, statement designer lighting fixtures, and stunning golden arch mirrors this space is perfect for your dinner portion of your evening or even your ceremony. Modern Industrial mixed with Classic Glamour makes for the perfect combination in this one of a kind space!

ROOFTOP CONSERVATORY

The Standard’s Rooftop Conservatory is the first of its kind in the Chicago Suburbs. On the top story of our facility, our glass conservatory is the most astonishing finishing touch to our breathtaking venue. It is the perfect indoor space for cooler weather to host your ceremony celebration or, can also serve as a post-ceremony space for your guests to enjoy cocktail hour. After dinner, the conservatory is often utilized as a space for dancing and celebration! With exposed brick, ALL natural light, two stunningly beautiful crystal chandeliers, and a marble bar the rooftop conservatory is truly picture perfect!

THE ROOFTOP

Even though our facility is packed full with beautiful spaces, this area is definitely our favorite. Sitting atop downtown Rockford it has a front row view to the skyline of the city as well as the Rock River. Two thirds of the space is outside on a rooftop deck, lined with gas lanterns and beautiful string lighting. This rooftop has been used for countless events and parties and is picture perfect for your weddng day. The rest of the space is inside of a one-of-a-kind glass conservatory holding the bar, sound system, tv and restrooms.

THE BRIDAL SUITE

When renting The Standard, some packages come with our statement suites included! The bridal suite is honestly one of our favorite parts of the entire venue. Every detail was thought of and has been beautifully executed in this one of a kind space. We believe that your wedding day should be flawless from beginning to end. The bridal suite is a comfortable yet picturesque location for our brides and their ladies to spend the morning being pampered and getting ready for the big day! With a kitchenette with mini fridge, private restroom, statement art pieces, and luxury furniture. This space is all you need and more!

THE MAN CAVE

When renting The Standard, some packages come with our statement suites included! One of our main goals when designing The Standard was to have a great space for the men to get ready and have fun, the day of the wedding. The man cave does just that! Equipped with several massive leather couches, a full banquet table perfect for a game of cards, big screen TV’s, a kitchenette with mini fridge and yes, even a ping-pong table. The man cave is a great place for the men to get ready for the big day and have some fun! What more could you ask for?
